The Effect of Moringa Oleifera Methanol Leaves Extracts on Sodium/Potassium (Na+ /K+ ) Atpase in Streptozotocin-Induced Experimental Diabetic Albino Male Rat Models

Parameters such as sodium/potassium (Na+/K+ ATPase), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), fasting blood glucose levels assayed.Results: M.oleifera (at 500mg/kg 1000mg/kg) increased -ATPase activities in an rat induced with hyperglycemia. It also observed that doses (132.67 + 8.14) and1000mg/kg (114.00 15.38) for glucose, (6.29 0.26) (6.08 haemoglobin (HbA1c) effective ameliorating diabetes bystreptozotocin.Conclusions: This study established decrease activity streptozotocininduced type II can be to normal functionality by oral administration 1000mg/kg.
